I have been playing around with this website’s logo for a while now, never settling on a design. Thankfully, I finally found something I like, and will now begin applying this (and other variations/sizes of the design) to the website, social media, etc.

This change is related to a brand-wide update in the works due to the move to Colorado. As I no longer work at the MSP my team and I created in Nebraska, I can now devote some time and funding to creating my own company here in Littleton. When you work in an MSP, it always feels weird to take side jobs as these could potentially be the MSP’s customers, so I would refer them to the company instead. With the new job, I can safely start a side hustle as I work in internal IT (such a nice change). I am quite thankful for having the opportunity to lead the creation of the MSP back in Nebraska, as I now know exactly what is involved, have experience in literally every aspect of an MSP’s creation, management, and everyday operation, and have the confidence to push forward.
My plans, at least for the start, are to merely set up the online store, implement an email/ticketing system, business cards, company phone, register everything, and just slowly work my way from offering services in my gated community (which consists of primarily elderly and retirees with easy IT issues/requests, wonderful people, and many wealthy prior-business owners with connections), to then grow through Littleton. My whole concept at my previous MSP was to provide service with a smile and to bring a little light (and kindness) to the often dark world that is business, along with the often confusing world that is technology. So, I will merely begin by helping people who need it in my little community, at highly-discounted rates, and spreading/teaching the wonders of technology.
As I will be working full-time with my day job, this MSP will just be an after-hours thing. I’m thinking it can begin as an on-site/remote general help desk, installs, etc. provider, and slowly (as funding/time allows) transform into more of a remote security and network consultation service (while it is just me). Eventually, I would transition once more into offering full security plans as an MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) if I decide to hire other employees.
Here’s to the future of Securing The Universe.
Let me know what you think!
